All products shipped frozen in a fully recyclable, insulated box with dry ice. Home delivery to California only. The deadline to order is Monday at 11:59pm to receive your meat the same week.
Welcome To Our Farm
The Steward Sustainable Farm was established by Colton Melo, a 14-year-old third generation farmer, who is passionate about raising food the old-fashioned way. The farm is located in California's beautiful Central Valley. The farm offers free-range, pasture raised eggs, pastured poultry, pastured pigs, grass-fed beef and pasture raised holiday turkeys.
As a steward of the land, The Steward Sustainable Farm strives to connect locally grown food with the community through regenerative methods that are environmentally sustainable. Committed to exceeding industry standards, our chickens are routinely rotated to ensure a fresh, clean environment providing a natural omnivore diet of insects, worms, and grass in addition to locally grown grain. Our pigs are raised on pasture with access to natural forage and plenty of sunshine.Our beef is grass fed and grass finished.
We are "grass farmers". We use mob grazing methods that allow our cattle to graze nutrient dense grasses for a single day; allowing them to graze, trample, and leave nutrients behind, before being moved to a fresh paddock. The chickens follow a few days behind the cattle, taking advantage of the bugs in the droppings as they scratch, further aiding in the fertilization of our pastures.
We are conscious of the regeneration process: microbes feeding the soil>that feeds the plants>that feeds the animals that spread the urine and manure>that go back to feed the soil and so on...

We Start Taking Reservations For Turkeys In July
100% Pasture-based Turkeys are raised the old-fashioned way here on The Steward Sustainable Farm. The turkeys are provided with nutritious, healthy diets, clean, fresh water, locally grown grain, exercise, fresh air, and plenty sunshine. Their meat is much healthier and tastier than industrial turkeys. All of our pasture raised turkey is air chilled before being put into the freezer to enhance tenderness and flavor.
